SSE Riga provides WiFi networks in the SSE Riga building, courtyard, W32 auditorium and SSE Riga Library.

• eduroam

  • International WiFi network available to users from education and research institutions

• sseriga_public

  • Public access network accessible to all SSE Riga visitors

• sseriga

  • Secure high-speed network accessible only with an SSE Riga account

Connecting to "eduroam"

1. Select "eduroam" from the list of wireless connections and click "Connect"

2. Enter the SSE Riga email address as your username and your SSE Riga account password as your password

   • If you are a visitor at SSE Riga, enter the account information provided to you by your home university.

3. After submitting your account credentials, you will be connected to WiFi

If asked for additional details when connecting to "eduroam" network, provide additional details:

3. • EAP method: PEAP

   • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2

   • CA Certificate: (Preferably) "Accept on first use" or (if other options are not available) "Do not validate"

If asked for a security certificate, set up SSE Riga security certificate on your phone:

• Download the SSE Riga CA certificate (sseriga.cer) on your device

• Follow Google's instructions to add a certificate

• When prompted to choose the uses for the certificate(s), select Wi-Fi

Connecting to "sseriga_public"

1. Select "sseriga_public" from the list of wireless connections and click "Connect"

2. You will be prompted to enter the network password

3. After submitting the password, you will be connected to WiFi

Connecting to "sseriga"

1. Select "sseriga" from the list of wireless connections and click "Connect"

2. A message prompting you to log in via web portal will appear. If a message does not appear, open any webpage in a new browser tab

3. You will be automatically redirected to the "sseriga" wireless network logon page. Enter your SSE Riga account credentials

4. After submitting your account credentials on the logon page, you will be connected to WiFi. You can close the logon page and start browsing the internet
